Sr Manager, Production Planning (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop Production Planners and Schedulers supporting multiple products or value streams.
• Own the site master production plan by aligning customer demand, capacity, labor, materials, inventory, throughput, cycle time, and on-time delivery.
• Translate forecasts, customer demand, and program milestones into executable production schedules and mitigate capacity, material, and production risks.
• Support factory ramp-up, production line transfers, site transitions, new lines, new tools, and evolving product mixes.
• Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing on NPI and volume-ramp readiness, including accurate ERP routings, bills of material, and planning parameters.
• Provide planning inputs for S&OP, MRP, customer escalations, and executive reviews while communicating risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field, with 10+ years of related experience; equivalent education and experience may apply.
• At least 3 years of people-management experience leading planners or schedulers.
• Experience in complex manufacturing, preferably semiconductor, electronics, precision manufacturing, or semiconductor capital equipment.
• Strong ERP knowledge; Oracle experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience leading planning through production ramps, transitions, or site start-ups, including high-mix/low-volume manufacturing.
• Advanced Excel, data analysis, KPI management, and senior-leadership presentation skills.
