Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator

Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator (EHS): Coordinating and implementing environmental health and safety programs at a fulfillment center with an accent on compliance, audits, risk assessments, and team training. Location: Onsite at a fulfillment center in Belton, Missouri, with additional locations including Dallas, Texas; flexible shifts may include days, nights, and weekends.

What you will do
- Serve as the designated EHS representative for a shift and implement the site EHS program.
- Coach team members on safe behaviors and support completion of EHS responsibilities.
- Conduct audits, risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and job safety analyses.
- Identify compliance issues, workplace risks, ergonomic concerns, and improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate incident investigations and maintain EHS metrics, records, and required paperwork.
- Provide EHS training and support leadership with compliance against company standards and applicable laws.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in an EHS-related field, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or six months in a safety-related role.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910.
- Professional experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to analyze accident data, processes, and machinery for safety concerns.
- Availability for flexible onsite shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an EHS-related field.
- Experience leading or coaching a team or participating in a Safety Committee.
- Active First Aid and CPR certificates with emergency response experience.
- Experience with Intelex, Avetta, Asana, Smartsheet, safety management systems, or similar software.
