Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator (EHS): Coordinating and implementing environmental health and safety programs at a fulfillment center with an accent on compliance, risk assessment, audits, and incident investigation. Location: Belton, Missouri, United States; onsite at a fulfillment center

What you will do
- Serve as the designated EHS shift representative and coordinate implementation of the EHS program.
- Train, coach, and assist team members on safe behaviors and EHS responsibilities.
- Support compliance with corporate EHS expectations, OSHA requirements, and applicable federal and state laws.
- Conduct audits, risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and job safety analyses for work activities, processes, and new equipment.
- Facilitate incident investigations and recommend risk mitigation measures, including ergonomic improvements.
- Maintain EHS documentation, metrics, and reports for onsite leadership.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in an EHS-related field, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or 6 months in a safety-related role at .
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910.
- Professional experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication, collaboration, analysis, judgment, and customer-focus skills.
- Availability for flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an EHS-relevant field.
- Experience leading or coaching a team or participating in a Safety Committee.
- Active First Aid and CPR certificates with emergency response experience.
- Experience with Intelex, Avetta, Asana, Smartsheet, safety management systems, or similar software.
