Bilingual Safety Coordinator (Construction)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; field work across active construction sites.

What you will do

• Conduct daily jobsite safety walks and hazard assessments.
• Enforce company safety policies, site-specific safety plans, PPE requirements, and equipment usage standards.
• Participate in and help facilitate toolbox talks and safety meetings.
• Assist with incident investigations, documentation, safety logs, inspection reports, and compliance records.
• Coordinate and track safety training for field employees and monitor subcontractor and vendor compliance.
• Partner with project managers, superintendents, and field crews to address unsafe conditions and support OSHA audits or inspections.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or comparable training, education, and relevant experience.
• Entry-level profile with 0–2 years of construction or safety experience.
• OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain it within 90 days.
• Bilingual Spanish and English communication skills required.
• Reliable transportation and availability to work extended hours as needed.
• Strong organization, communication, problem-solving, time-management, and interpersonal skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools.

Nice to have

• Commercial construction or other construction industry experience.
