Sr. Manager of Category Management - Core Equipment

Salary: $123,200–$164,333.33 per year

What you will do

• Develop and execute category strategies, operating plans, and roadmaps across assortment, pricing, promotions, and omnichannel merchandising.
• Oversee sourcing, RFIs/RFPs, supplier management, risk analysis, commercial terms, service levels, and procurement governance.
• Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, including innovation, product introductions, adoption monitoring, and product rationalization.
• Track category performance through KPIs, scorecards, business reviews, and analytics, converting insights into action plans.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and vendor partners to deliver revenue, margin, market share, and efficiency improvements.
• Improve category management processes, tools, workflows, and best practices while building team capabilities and organizational capacity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 8 years of experience in category management, sourcing, or procurement.
• At least 3 years of leadership or people management experience.
• Experience with category trends, regulatory considerations, supply chain dynamics, consumer behavior, and competitive analysis.
• Advanced analytical and financial acumen, with strong sourcing, negotiation, communication, project leadership, and change leadership skills.
• Availability for approximately 10% travel.
