Senior Manager of Category Management (Infection Prevention)

Location: St Paul, Minnesota, United States; primarily remote with a flexible workplace

Salary: $123,200–$164,333.33 per year

What you will do

• Lead category strategies, operating plans, and roadmaps covering assortment, pricing, promotions, and omnichannel merchandising.
• Oversee sourcing, RFI/RFP processes, supplier partnerships, risk analysis, pricing, service levels, and supplier governance.
• Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, including innovation, product introductions, adoption monitoring, and rationalization.
• Track category performance through KPIs, scorecards, business reviews, and analytics, converting insights into actions that improve sales, margin, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and vendor partners to execute category plans.
• Build category management capabilities, improve processes and tools, and manage and develop direct reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 8 years of experience in category management, sourcing, or procurement.
• At least 3 years of leadership or people management experience.
• Experience with category trends, regulatory considerations, supply chain dynamics, market analysis, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes.
• Advanced analytical and financial skills, with the ability to turn complex data into concise recommendations.
• Strong business acumen, sourcing and negotiation skills, communication, project leadership, change leadership, and team-development capabilities.
