Senior Director, Global Real Estate & Facilities

Location: Deerfield, Illinois, United States; flexible workplace policy with a required minimum number of onsite days per week

Estimated base salary: $200,000–$275,000 annually, with potential eligibility for discretionary bonuses, commission, and/or long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Develop and execute an integrated global real estate, facilities, and workplace strategy aligned with corporate priorities.
• Govern standards, policies, and operating frameworks for transactions, facilities management, capital planning, and workplace services.
• Oversee acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, renewals, restructuring, and the optimization of owned and leased assets.
• Provide executive oversight of global facilities operations, maintenance, workplace experience, and capital project execution.
• Own global budgets, drive cost savings, and lead vendor strategy, procurement, negotiations, and service-provider performance.
• Advise senior leadership on portfolio optimization, workplace strategy, capital investments, risk management, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, architecture, construction management, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of global industrial or commercial real estate experience in a corporate environment.
• Extensive experience in global real estate operations, portfolio management, transactions, project management, and stakeholder leadership.
• Experience managing large teams, enterprise-wide projects, vendors, global service providers, large-scale budgets, and capital programs.
• Strong financial acumen, including GAAP, cash flow, capital and operating expenses, capital markets, interest rates, investments, and currency fluctuations.
• Real estate license or related professional designation required.
