BIM Systems Coordinator (Autodesk Fabrication)

What you will do

• Create, configure, organize, maintain, and optimize the Autodesk Fabrication Parts database, including ITM parts, services, connectors, and specifications.
• Implement fabrication parts in Revit templates and families and standardize services, materials, and part libraries across design and fabrication platforms.
• Manage version control and coordinate database updates across project teams in alignment with BIM standards.
• Provide technical support, user training, documentation, guidelines, and reference materials for fabrication database workflows.
• Audit and validate sizes, materials, connectors, and manufacturer data for compatibility with spooling, estimating, CAM outputs, and field prefabrication.
• Collaborate with engineering, detailing, estimating, fabrication, QA/QC, software vendors, and consultants on troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Drafting, or equivalent work-related experience.
• 3–5 years of experience with Autodesk Fabrication software, CADmep or ESTmep, and Revit MEP.
• Hands-on experience managing or customizing Fabrication Parts databases and ITM content.
• Knowledge of construction workflows, MEP systems, and prefabrication practices.
• Familiarity with database version control, ITM file management, and service configurations.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, training, and cross-functional support skills, including interoperability across Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360/ACC.
