Manufacturing Industrial Engineer (Sheet Metal)

Location: Bangalore, India; onsite manufacturing role

What you will do

• Develop and optimize sheet metal, machining, and industrial engineering processes.
• Conduct time studies, optimize layouts, improve productivity, and perform ergonomic assessments.
• Create PFMEAs, control plans, work instructions, process flows, and manufacturing documentation.
• Prepare manufacturing drawings, bills of materials, routings, and process sheets in SAP.
• Provide technical support for laser cutting, punching, bending, welding, surface treatment, powder coating, machining, and assembly.
• Design processes, fixtures, and tools while coordinating APQP product development activities with multifunctional teams.

Requirements

• BE degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing or industrial engineering experience in sheet metal manufacturing and aluminum machining.
• Experience with enclosures or panel building, sheet metal fabrication, machining fundamentals, and industrial engineering principles.
• Proficiency in SAP ERP, including Material Master, BOM, and Routing.
• Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, basic 3D tools, CAD drawings, and GD&T.
• Knowledge of Lean methods, PFMEA, control plans, process capability studies, industrial safety, environmental regulations, ISO, QMS, and AS9100.
