E3D Engineer, EI&C (AVEVA E3D)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain 3D models of EI&C equipment, cable trays, conduits, and supports in AVEVA E3D.
• Generate wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, panel layouts, and installation details from E3D models.
• Perform clash detection and interference checks for equipment placement and cable routing.
• Integrate EI&C designs with process, mechanical, and civil plant models.
• Prepare bills of material and material take-offs, and maintain accurate project documentation and version control.
• Provide technical input during design reviews and support construction and commissioning queries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of EI&C design experience in an industrial environment, preferably in pulp and paper, energy, or similar heavy industries.
• Proficiency in AVEVA E3D, formerly PDMS, with a focus on Electrical, Instrumentation, and Cable Routing modules.
• Understanding of electrical power distribution, instrumentation principles, control systems, and fieldbus technologies.
• Experience with IEC, ISA, NEC, and other international engineering standards; ability to interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and control narratives.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required.
