2nd Shift Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Leland, North Carolina, United States; onsite manufacturing floor-based role on the 2nd shift

What you will do

• Lead safe, efficient, and high-quality operations across the assigned shift and production area.
• Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training; investigate accidents and near misses and drive corrective actions.
• Assign and instruct hourly employees, monitor process control, and address out-of-control conditions.
• Supervise the team, maintain accountability and discipline, and complete production, attendance, and timekeeping records.
• Monitor equipment condition, procedure adherence, housekeeping, and operational performance.
• Lead process improvement projects, coordinate hands-on training, and provide clear shift handoffs.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of previous supervisor experience preferred.
• Hands-on manufacturing experience with strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, social awareness, and time-management skills.
• Ability to build trust while maintaining boundaries and consistent accountability.
• Ability to work physically and mentally in a demanding, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Frequent walking, standing, lifting, and hands-on interaction with equipment are required; this is not an office position.
