3rd Shift Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Leland, North Carolina, United States. Onsite manufacturing floor role on the third shift; frequent walking, standing, lifting, and hands-on equipment interaction are required.

What you will do

• Lead safety across the assigned shift by conducting safety meetings and training, investigating accidents and near misses, and driving corrective actions.
• Assign and instruct employees to maintain high-quality production output and follow process procedures.
• Supervise the hourly workforce, set expectations, maintain discipline, and hold the team accountable for area results.
• Oversee equipment condition, procedure adherence, housekeeping, production reporting, attendance, and timekeeping.
• Lead process improvement projects and coordinate hands-on training to improve operational efficiency.
• Communicate area status, priorities, and open issues to incoming supervisors during shift handoffs.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of previous supervisor experience preferred.
• Hands-on manufacturing experience with strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, social awareness, and time-management skills.
• Ability to build trust, maintain clear boundaries, and apply consistent accountability.
• Professional demeanor, reliability, positive attitude, and ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to translate operational direction, guidelines, and procedures into actionable results.
