Clinic RN Sr.- Frisco

Location: Frisco, Texas, United States. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; no weekends, call, or major holidays.

hirify.global's Texas Oncology division provides community-based oncology care through more than 220 sites across Texas and southeastern Oklahoma.

What you will do

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote continuity of oncology patient care.
• Assess patient health status, medical history, and patient and family needs.
• Provide patient and family education, instructional materials, and psychosocial support.
• Manage medication refill requests, triage calls, and clinical documentation.
• Schedule consultations, diagnostic tests, procedures, referrals, and follow-up appointments.
• Coordinate services with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams while supporting LPN/LVNs and medical assistants.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license and registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support certification and ongoing continuing education.
• At least five years of nursing experience for the senior level, including at least one year in oncology preferred.
• Ability to handle and lift patients, stand and walk for extended periods, and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work in an oncology/hematology clinic environment with potential exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, radiation, and medical preparations.

Nice to have

• Oncology experience and oncology certification.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
