Civil Engineer - Water/Wastewater

Location: Anchorage, Alaska, USA; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Design water and wastewater utilities, site grading, stormwater management, and sediment and erosion control systems.
• Prepare plan drawings, engineering reports, technical specifications, and other contract deliverables.
• Support Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation permitting activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers and EITs to resolve client technical challenges.
• Track project scope, budgets, schedules, and progress, escalating issues to project managers.
• Present designs to clients and the public and prepare technical proposal content.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• 5+ years of civil engineering experience focused on design.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Ability to contribute to multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work from the Anchorage, Alaska location.

Nice to have

• Professional Civil Engineer license.
• AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS experience.
