Civil Engineer (3-6 Years)

Location: Oakland, California, USA; hybrid schedule with at least three in-person days per week and up to two remote days

Salary: USD 83,000–105,000 yearly, based on experience; paid overtime at 1.0 times the hourly rate.

What you will do

• Provide civil engineering services from feasibility and design through permitting and construction support.
• Develop civil designs for site development, land development, grading, drainage, and site utilities.
• Address stormwater compliance, ADA accessibility, and related site improvements.
• Support construction activities and coordinate technical work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to project scoping and proposal writing.
• Manage multiple tasks while communicating with clients and project teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Civil Engineer-In-Training (E.I.T.) certification required.
• Three to six years of experience in civil design, permitting, and construction assistance related to site development.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong verbal and written communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

• Registration as a Civil Professional Engineer (P.E.).
