Salary: Starting at $86,000 annually

What you will do
- Design and analyze civil infrastructure for diverse land development and site design projects.
- Prepare and review site, grading, utility, erosion and sediment control, and construction plans.
- Design stormwater management, drainage, conveyance, roadway, access, grading, and utility systems.
- Coordinate permitting with municipal, county, and state review agencies.
- Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, proposals, technical reports, cost estimates, and project documentation.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, regulators, and internal teams while mentoring junior engineers and conducting site investigations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- 4–8 years of civil engineering experience focused on land development and site design.
- Engineer-in-Training certification required.
- Experience preparing land development plans and permit applications.
- Knowledge of site layout, stormwater management, grading and drainage, utility infrastructure, erosion and sediment control, and permitting processes.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
- Professional Engineer license or progress toward licensure.
- Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software.
