Solar Field Service Technician (Lakeview, OR)

Location: Lakeview, OR, United States; full-time field work at remote solar locations

Salary: $22.00–$31.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform supervised maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on solar equipment across multiple solar plants.
• Operate, care for, and maintain company vehicles, equipment, tools, and testing equipment.
• Replace or repair solar parts and equipment under supervision.
• Respond to on-call requests, including emergency repairs during weekends or after-hours.
• Prepare accurate service documentation and required work reports.
• Suggest process improvements, collaborate on new technologies, and coordinate implementation with EPC management.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Mechanical or electrical environment experience through formal training or previous work experience.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and solar plant systems.
• Ability to identify and perform effective Lock Out/Tag Out procedures on energized systems.
• Basic computer and testing-equipment skills, with the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Effective written and verbal English communication, NFPA 70e safety certification, a valid driver’s license, and availability for on-call work are required.
