Complex Health Visiting Professor (Nursing)

Location: Phoenix, AZ, USA; hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week, Monday–Thursday.

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Teach complex adult health in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program through clinical instruction.
• Plan clinical experiences and directly supervise and evaluate nursing students providing patient care.
• Provide documented feedback, remediation, and guidance based on course objectives and student learning needs.
• Prepare clinical assignments and grade homework, assessments, laboratory work, clinical paperwork, and other written assignments.
• Maintain knowledge of clinical agency policies and communicate student or agency concerns to course leadership.
• May teach didactic course content under the supervision of a course coordinator.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional nursing license.
• At least two years of professional registered nursing experience within the last five years in the area of instruction.
• Strong subject-matter expertise and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Genuine commitment to nursing education, lifelong learning, and supporting students and colleagues.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required at certain clinical partner sites.
