What you will do
- Own expediting for assigned suppliers and commodities to secure firm promise dates and shipment plans.
- Identify delivery risks early and drive recovery actions, including pull-ins, split shipments, and alternate sourcing.
- Coordinate with supplier production, planning, and shipping to align material readiness with site needs.
- Liaise with carriers, brokers, and warehouses to ensure proper routing and delivery documentation.
- Resolve issues related to quality holds, partial shipments, and customs/document errors.
- Synchronize data with Buyers, Planners, and Project Managers while maintaining accuracy in ERP/MRP systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Logistics, OR an Associate’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience, OR 4 years of expediting/materials/logistics experience.
- Must be able to work onsite in Columbus, OH.
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
- Experience with shipment documentation such as BOL, ASN, and INCOTERMS.
- Ability to perform basic data analysis using Excel or BI tools.
