Software Engineer III - Deposit Development (RPG/SQL/DB2)

Location: Hybrid in Monett, Missouri, or Springfield, Missouri

What you will do

• Design, prototype, develop, test, and maintain deposit and time-deposit software.
• Work on ACH, wires, analysis, sweeps, and other deposit functions.
• Perform system analysis, programming, bug verification, defect resolution, and technical support throughout the application lifecycle.
• Deliver production releases, conduct release validation, beta support, unit testing, and integration testing.
• Create technical documentation, estimates, and cost assessments while following and contributing to engineering standards.
• Collaborate with QA and customer support, and assist with training and mentoring less experienced engineers.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional programming experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with RPG, SQL, and DB2.
• Ability to perform extensive system research and analysis and develop solutions based on business requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a self-organizing, cross-functional development team.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in business, software engineering, or computer science.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and SOA architecture.
• Experience with XML.
• Experience with JHA Deposits Core Banking, including SilverLake or CIF 20/20.
