Senior Full Stack Developer (Java/Angular)

Location: Must reside in one of these U.S. states: California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, or West Virginia. Availability is required during EST core business hours, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Salary: $150,000–$165,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance full-stack applications, including dashboards, process automation tools, and interface applications.
• Design and maintain scalable, resilient, and secure API microservices.
• Drive the migration of monolithic applications to modern microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and stakeholders in a SAFe Agile environment.
• Improve system performance, reliability, and security through continuous improvement.
• Conduct code peer reviews and enforce Java coding standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 8–10 years of full-stack development experience using Java/JEE.
• Strong experience with Java, JEE, Spring/Spring Boot, Angular, responsive design, Bootstrap, jQuery, and DataTables.
• Experience developing API microservices, using JOOQ, JPA, and Hibernate, and integrating ESRI ArcGIS geospatial APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Apache Maven, JBoss Enterprise Application Platforms, and cloud-native application hosting.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and eligible to obtain a security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting U.S. federal government contracts.
• Experience with Temporal.io, Camunda, or equivalent workflow orchestration tools.
• Experience integrating USWDS-compliant components with Angular Storybook.
• Experience with prompt templates, prompt engineering, and developer AI tools such as GitHub Copilot.
