Clinical Visiting Professor (Nursing)

Location: Phoenix, Arizona, USA

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Teach and supervise Bachelor of Science in Nursing students in clinical settings.
• Plan clinical experiences and provide direct supervision while students deliver patient care.
• Evaluate student performance against course objectives and provide documented feedback.
• Develop clinical assignments aligned with students’ knowledge, competencies, and learning needs.
• Grade assignments and written work, provide remediation, and address student or clinical-agency concerns.
• Maintain knowledge of clinical-site policies and coordinate with course coordinators, deans, and clinical personnel.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution.
• Unencumbered nursing license in Missouri or a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
• At least two years of recent professional registered-nurse experience in the area of instruction within the last five years.
• Strong nursing subject-matter expertise and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for nursing education, lifelong learning, and supporting students and colleagues.
• COVID-19 vaccination proof may be required at certain clinical partner sites.
