Project Manager Software Implementation

Location: Bogotá, Colombia; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Manage software implementation projects or programs end to end, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
• Define project scope, tasks, schedules, budgets, quality standards, communication plans, and resource requirements.
• Lead project teams, manage stakeholders and subcontractors, and serve as the primary contact for internal, external, and customer forums.
• Identify risks and issues, create mitigation plans, communicate status, and escalate problems when required.
• Manage project revenue and forecasts, maintain management systems, and report delivery performance.
• Assess project results, share lessons learned, and contribute to improvements in project management methodology.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of current, proven experience as a project manager leading teams and managing people in a matrix environment.
• Experience delivering software, IT, or telephony solutions to external clients, preferably in a consulting or software organization.
• Experience managing the full software SDLC, including discovery, design, and custom solution development.
• Experience managing complex, dynamic, large, and simultaneous projects for international customers.
• Strong customer relationship, business, technical, budget, revenue forecasting, and communication skills.
• Proficient English communication skills and a bachelor's or master's degree in systems engineering or a related field.
