Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Location: Round Rock, Texas, United States; full-time on-site, Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. No weekends, call, or major holidays.

What you will do

• Provide therapeutic counseling, psychosocial assessments, crisis interventions, and emotional support to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Address the psychosocial impact of cancer across diagnosis, advanced cancer, end-of-life care, and survivorship.
• Coordinate community resources, support groups, healthcare organizations, and external agencies.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary clinic staff to support patient and family needs.
• Participate in distress and depression screening follow-up, advance care planning, quality improvement, and value-based care initiatives.
• Document interventions and billing information accurately in the EMR; educate staff and provide supervision or mentorship when appropriate.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited school or program.
• Valid, current Texas master’s clinical-level license, such as LCSW.
• Three to five years of clinical social work experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of psychosocial care for oncology patients, families, caregivers, and different age groups.
• Ability to work on site in Round Rock during the stated Monday–Friday schedule.

Nice to have

• Oncology, palliative care, or hospice experience.
• Experience supervising MSW student interns or social workers working toward clinical licensure.
