Licensed Counselor (LAC, LPC, LMFT, LCSW) (Behavioral Health)

Location: On-site in Westminster, Colorado, USA

Compensation: $75,000–$83,000 annually plus performance bonus opportunities.

What you will do

• Conduct individual alcohol and drug abuse counseling and group sessions.
• Perform patient intake, readmission services, assessments, and supportive follow-up counseling.
• Develop and revise treatment plans, maintain comprehensive records, and complete inter-agency documentation.
• Coordinate care with community providers and make appropriate referrals.
• Provide crisis intervention, patient orientation, staff training, and OBOT services.
• Follow federal, state, local, and accrediting agency requirements and support program improvements.

Requirements

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in a human services-related field, such as counseling, social work, psychology, or a related discipline, according to state requirements.
• Current counseling credentials and one of the following licenses: LAC, LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
• Knowledge of human behavior, substance abuse populations, treatment planning, and human social services.
• Sound judgment when handling confidential and sensitive matters.
• Ability to respond quickly, make effective decisions, and work appropriately with patients and colleagues in stressful situations.
• Behavioral health experience is preferred but not required.
