Senior Category Manager

Location: Pomona, California, US; hybrid work with required residence and work in California

Salary: $161,700–$242,600 per year

What you will do

• Develop long-term organizational road maps, career development plans, recruiting plans, and change management strategies.
• Design and implement company-wide procurement sourcing and category management strategies.
• Manage category savings forecasts and delivery against procurement commitments.
• Oversee supplier due diligence, selection strategies, risk profiles, and sourcing activities.
• Lead supplier and vendor performance management through KPIs and business reviews.
• Maintain vendor and business partner engagement to ensure contract adherence and alignment with business objectives.

Requirements

• 10 or more years of experience in supply chain, procurement, and/or contract management.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, supply chain management, economics, construction management, operations, or a related field.
• Experience developing complex category management and strategic sourcing strategies, including spend analysis, market intelligence, competitive sourcing, negotiations, risk assessments, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with procurement tools, process implementation, and continuous improvement.
• Experience using procurement and ERP platforms such as Ariba, SAP, or comparable technologies.
• Employees are required to work and reside in California unless otherwise noted.

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as CPSM, CPM, PMP, or a similar credential.
• Experience presenting recommendations, business cases, and strategic insights to executive leadership.
• Experience analyzing large and complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
