Vice President Engineering (m/f/d)

What you will do

• Define and execute a multi-year engineering strategy aligned with company goals, customer roadmaps, and operational requirements.
• Lead and develop a large, international engineering organization across multiple regions, sites, and time zones.
• Own engineering readiness for high-volume production, including stable ramps, yield optimization, reliability, cost efficiency, and quality.
• Lead cross-functional NPI execution and ensure effective transitions from development into volume manufacturing.
• Serve as the executive-level engineering interface for strategic customers and external partners.
• Build a performance-driven engineering culture, including leadership development, succession planning, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 15+ years of professional engineering experience, including significant experience in high-volume manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Leadership experience at Director, Senior Director, or Vice President level.
• Long-standing experience delivering and scaling high-volume wafer test equipment solutions.
• Experience leading large global engineering teams across multiple sites and time zones.
• Engineering or related technical degree; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Strong business acumen, communication skills, and ability to work with executive leadership, customers, manufacturing, operations, quality, supply chain, product management, and sales.
