What you will do

• Investigate, maintain, and repair industrial equipment and facility systems.
• Construct, modify, and alter facilities and assigned devices.
• Perform machining, bench work, layouts, and sketches for maintenance tasks.
• Use acetylene and oxygen torches for silver soldering, brazing, torch cutting, plumbing, and heating-related repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair low-voltage control circuits, including 110-volt AC and 24-volt DC systems.
• Perform maintenance oiling and general utility work as needed.

Requirements

• At least one year of industrial maintenance education or experience.
• Familiarity with mechanical methods and procedures.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills.
• Employment is tied to the Wamego, Kansas location.
