Maintenance Technician I

Location: Wamego, Kansas, United States; onsite

Salary: $19.21–$28.81 per hour

What you will do

• Investigate, maintain, and repair Solar equipment and facility systems.
• Perform maintenance across mechanical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, rigging, painting, carpentry, and industrial vehicle systems.
• Construct, modify, and repair facilities and devices using layouts, sketches, machining, and bench work.
• Use acetylene and oxygen torches for silver soldering, brazing, torch cutting, and heating shafts, hubs, or bearings.
• Troubleshoot and repair low-voltage control circuits using volt-ohm meters and related instruments.
• Perform maintenance oiler and general utility worker duties as required.

Requirements

• At least one year of industrial maintenance education or experience.
• Familiarity with mechanical methods and procedures.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills.
