Operations Supervisor (Food Manufacturing)

Location: Delano, California, USA; on-site facility role

Salary: $70,304–$80,000 per year, with a possible discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Oversee packing house operations from fruit receipt and processing through shipment.
• Improve personnel safety, food safety, product quality, line effectiveness, equipment optimization, and financial performance.
• Maximize production efficiency, fruit utilization, and quality while reducing product holds and customer claims.
• Plan staffing and headcount, generate production reports, and analyze production rates and statistics.
• Manage packing equipment, operational procedures, shift transitions, cleaning, sanitation coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain inventory processes, FIFO and WMS functionality, storage coordination, exception reporting, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial manufacturing, business management, or a related field, or equivalent manufacturing management experience.
• At least two years of experience leading teams in a high-volume, fast-paced food manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Fluent written and verbal English is required; conversational Spanish is highly desired.
• Experience with equipment and process troubleshooting, food safety standards, regulations, OSHA, and manufacturing compliance.
• Experience with Oracle and Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills such as pivot tables, formulas, charts, and graphs, is desired.
• Ability to work day or night shifts on a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays, and to work throughout the facility.
