Technical Field Representative I (Agriculture)

Location: Remote within the assigned territory, based in Fresno, California, with extensive travel throughout California

Compensation: up to USD 72,000 yearly

What you will do

• Execute seasonal product deployments and install pest management products, traps, and dispensers according to established procedures.
• Coordinate temporary field labor and support seasonal logistics and inventory management.
• Set up, maintain, and monitor agricultural field trials.
• Collect trap counts, samples, observations, and other field data, then submit accurate documentation.
• Use mobile applications, GPS, and mapping software to document field activities.
• Build relationships with growers and agricultural partners while escalating technical or product performance concerns.

Requirements

• Two or more years of experience in agriculture, field operations, crop production, customer service, or a related field, or an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Strong communication, customer service, organizational, and independent working skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout California.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Professional fluency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, agronomy, crop science, plant science, biology, environmental science, or a related field.
• Internship or field experience in agriculture or agricultural research.
• Experience with California specialty crops.
• Experience using mobile applications, GPS, or field mapping technology.
