Field Service Technical Support (Manufacturing)

Location: USA, Remote; the role may require sitting at a customer site and is associated with Texas.

Salary: $85,900–$118,100 USD annual.

What you will do

• Provide complex pre-sales and post-sales technical guidance on product design, fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing capabilities.
• Review customer requirements, identify design and production issues, and recommend suitable solutions and specifications.
• Coordinate product integration between component suppliers, Flex, and customers.
• Define product scope, prepare detailed project plans, and maintain technical documentation.
• Develop product roadmaps and technical seminars for customers and sales personnel.
• Coordinate vendor qualification surveys and resolve technical questions with customer and program management teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Approximately 6 years of related experience.
• Advanced operations, technical, people, process, and customer relationship skills.
• Expert knowledge of the relevant function and a thorough understanding of Flex’s business.
• Knowledge of multiple technologies, processes, industries, or functions and their interdependencies.
• Experience leading major initiatives, executing strategic plans, and exercising independent judgment in ambiguous situations.
