Press Operator-1 Color Flex-2nd Shift (Printing)

Location: Townsend, MA, United States

Compensation: $20.00–$21.00 per hour, plus eligibility for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. A $2,000 retention bonus is offered.

What you will do

• Operate and manually set up or change over multi-color sheet-fed and high-speed continuous/web presses.
• Load the correct stock, set the paper path and stretch, mount plates, mix PMS ink, and configure die registration and press attributes.
• Run press orders while meeting requirements for ink density, ink and water balance, color matching, size, construction, and other specifications.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance to support consistent product quality.
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and adjust equipment, including blankets, washing units, water systems, and rollers.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• At least two years of manufacturing or printing experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of printing processes and printing press operation.
• Basic math, reading, computer, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Lean principles.
• Two years of printing press experience.
