Manager, Operational Analytics

Location: Addison, Texas, or Montpelier, Vermont; onsite four days per week on Monday through Thursday

Salary: $95,625–$140,250 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of analytics professionals.
• Partner with Service and Operations leaders to define business questions and recommend analytical approaches.
• Guide dashboards, reporting, forecasting tools, analytical investigations, and self-service analytics solutions.
• Identify trends, evaluate business implications, and develop actionable recommendations for leadership.
• Prioritize analytics requests, allocate team capacity, and establish standards for data quality, validation, documentation, visualization, and interpretation.
• Identify automation opportunities and apply approved AI-enabled tools responsibly while communicating findings and tradeoffs to technical and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with eight or more years of related experience, an advanced degree with five or more years of related experience, or twelve or more years of combined education and relevant experience.
• Experience in operational analytics, business intelligence, data analytics, decision support, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing employees.
• Ability to translate complex data into business insights, recommendations, and leadership-ready communications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data-analysis, business-intelligence, or data-visualization tools, plus knowledge of data sources, database structures, data quality, and validation practices.
• Visa sponsorship is not available; the role requires onsite attendance four days per week in Addison or Montpelier.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in analytics, data science, statistics, mathematics, finance, economics, operations research, business administration, or a related field.
• Experience in life insurance, financial services, or another highly regulated industry.
• Experience implementing AI-enabled analytics, automation, self-service reporting, forecasting, capacity planning, statistical modeling, or process analytics.
• Familiarity with data governance, privacy, risk, compliance, or responsible AI practices.
