Strategy & Operations Associate (AI)

Location: Chicago, Illinois

Salary: $65,000–$90,000 annually; the range applies when the role is performed from Illinois and may vary for California, Colorado, and New York.

What you will do

• Support operational initiatives for the Clinical Data Abstraction team, improving workflow efficiency, reporting, process consistency, and data quality.
• Execute recurring workflows and support monthly, quarterly, and annual planning activities.
• Maintain trackers, documentation, reporting tools, and operational playbooks.
• Gather, analyze, and summarize operational data for KPI tracking, business reviews, and decision-making.
• Test, validate, and support the rollout of new tools, workflows, and AI-enabled abstraction processes.
• Partner with operations, product, engineering, data, and business stakeholders on workflow improvements and operational tools.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience in operations, consulting, analytics, healthcare, life sciences, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and follow-through skills with high attention to detail.
• Experience with project management, operational playbooks, and using data to generate business insights or support implementation.
• Experience with SQL queries is preferred.
• Experience using AI tools, automation, or workflow technologies to improve processes, or strong interest in applying them to operational challenges.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration across multiple organizational levels.
