Sr Industrial Engineer

Location: Singapore — Woodlands — NorthTech; onsite, full time

What you will do

• Develop, enhance, and maintain capacity planning models covering labor, tools, space, materials, and other production resources.
• Create and maintain process simulation models to optimize manufacturing efficiency and costs.
• Analyze demand, capacity, labor requirements, workflows, layouts, and operational data to support business targets.
• Lead small improvement projects and long-term capacity planning activities with cross-functional teams.
• Drive industrial engineering and Lean Manufacturing practices to improve productivity, schedule adherence, inventory, scrap, employee engagement, and on-time delivery.
• Support compliance with cGMP, quality, safety, work instruction, and company policy requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a high-volume, high-tech, disposable, or consumable production environment.
• Experience with project management and/or layout planning, process mapping, time studies, optimization, and statistical analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills with a logical approach to problem solving.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and a simulation tool such as FlexSim, SimCad, or AnyLogic, with coding ability in Python, C++, or a similar language.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently, including when exposed to noisy or chemical environments with appropriate PPE.

• Lean Six Sigma or equivalent operational excellence credentials.
• Training in GMP, ISO 13485, or ISO 9001 standards.
