Advanced Manufacturing Engineer (Electrical/Electronics)

Location: Singapore-Yishun; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Troubleshoot electronic assemblies from component and PCA level through modules, subsystems, and complete instruments.
• Lead root cause investigations for manufacturing, qualification, reliability, field, and recurring product quality failures.
• Drive yield improvement, defect reduction, product robustness, reliability, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Evaluate and qualify changes to components, suppliers, materials, manufacturing processes, and product designs.
• Support new product introduction, prototype and pre-production builds, manufacturability, testability, and production readiness.
• Develop and improve production and qualification test stations, PCA/module-level test software, and diagnostic processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in electronics, manufacturing, sustaining, product support, or test engineering.
• Hands-on experience with electronic troubleshooting, component-level debugging, schematic interpretation, failure analysis, and structured root cause investigation.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and supporting manufacturing test stations and PCA/module-level test software.
• Experience with analog, digital, mixed-signal, RF, and high-voltage circuits, plus oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and LCR meters.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, communication, and Microsoft Excel data-analysis skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of RF circuits and impedance matching, DSP, PID control systems, ADC/DAC interfaces, high-voltage electronics, and analog or discrete circuit design.
• Experience with hirify.global Vee, OpenTAP, Python, C/C++, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or similar tools.
• Experience troubleshooting FPGA-based systems, digital interfaces, clocking, communication protocols, and component-level faults.
• Familiarity with manufacturing quality, product lifecycle management, system architecture, and integration of complex electronic instruments.
