Lean Management Specialist (Biotech)

What you will do

• Plan and implement the Lean Manufacturing system in gene synthesis and production.
• Apply 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, SOPs, and other lean tools in laboratory and production processes.
• Analyze bottlenecks and waste while leading projects to reduce turnaround time, improve OEE, and lower costs.
• Drive process standardization, modularization, automation optimization, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, supply chain, and other teams on process design and new product or process introduction.
• Organize lean training and provide operational support through claims administration, workforce and timesheet consolidation, and records management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Bioengineering, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
• Data analysis skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, and similar software.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, organization, communication, and coordination skills.
• Result-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Good proficiency in both Chinese and English is required for cross-regional collaboration.
• Ability to comply with laboratory safety, confidentiality, and operational procedures.
