Production Supervisor - Sheet Metal

Location: Longview, Texas, United States; onsite in a manufacturing facility

What you will do

• Oversee and coordinate daily production-floor activities to support efficient and timely manufacturing.
• Analyze production documents, determine requirements, and plan work schedules.
• Coordinate operations between departments with other supervisors.
• Maintain records covering employee time, production output, and costs, and prepare shift-performance reports.
• Request materials, supplies, equipment parts, and repair services as needed.
• Improve employee motivation, production methods, equipment performance, and product quality while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of industry experience or equivalent experience in a similar industry preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to quality detail, and decision-making ability.
• Effective communication, interpersonal relationship, and team-building skills.
• Ability to work in manufacturing facilities with exposure to extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, chemical fumes, sharp metal objects, and heavy forklift traffic.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb, stoop, walk, and sit for prolonged periods.

Nice to have

• Education beyond the high school diploma or GED for career development.
• Leadership training courses.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• RCRA, DOT, HVAC, or 608 Universal Refrigerant certification, depending on the assigned area.
