Project Manager, Facilities and Operations Management - Justice Sector (Construction)

Salary: $137,198.91–$156,798.76 per year

What you will do

• Manage the full lifecycle of school construction projects, including new buildings, renovations, expansions, and facility improvements.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and pre-construction coordination.
• Lead architects, engineers, construction workers, subcontractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor costs, invoices, payment applications, quality, safety, permits, and regulatory compliance.
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolve construction issues, and document changes to scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate inspections, punch lists, close-out documentation, warranties, manuals, and handover to the school district.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience managing construction projects, including large-scale and complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with project budgeting, scheduling, contract management, and school construction grant funding applications and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, site development, building codes, safety regulations, risk management, and environmental sustainability.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore or Buildertrend and Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP), LEED AP, or similar professional certification.
