Project Manager - Aviation

Salary: $135,000–$185,000 annual salary

What you will do

• Manage aviation construction projects from preconstruction through completion, close-out, and warranty follow-up.
• Estimate project costs, establish GMP or lump-sum budgets, and support bid item estimating.
• Negotiate subcontractor and material purchases, prepare bid packages, and oversee procurement and shop drawing approvals.
• Maintain project schedules, cost control, reporting, documentation, quality control, and contract compliance.
• Lead, train, and supervise project teams; coordinate with owners, architects, subcontractors, and superintendents.
• Develop safety procedures, manage project meetings, and prevent or mitigate claims and conflicts.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of field construction management experience, including supervisory experience.
• Leadership, problem-solving, organizational, communication, drafting, and computer skills.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Thorough understanding of scheduling, cost control, procurement, estimating, and other project management control systems.
