Focus on interpreting regulations, conducting compliance analysis, producing regulator-ready packages, and coordinating continuous improvement across Hanford site operations.

Location: Richland, Washington, United States. Work is conducted predominantly on-site at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site, with some remote support permitted when approved by the Contracting Officer. Travel may be required with advance approval.

What you will do

  • Support RCRA, CERCLA, and NEPA compliance activities, environmental monitoring, and regulatory reporting.
  • Manage oversight of safety management and environmental compliance programs.
  • Conduct analysis and support program development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Produce regulator-ready compliance packages and support data quality assurance and quality control.
  • Coordinate communication and operational support across Hanford Field Office programs and multidisciplinary contractor teams.
  • Support DOE Environmental Management services in a regulated, high-stakes nuclear cleanup environment.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of environmental compliance or remediation experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering.
  • HAZWOPER qualification.
  • Experience with regulatory interpretation and data QA/QC.
  • Risk awareness and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work predominantly on-site at the Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site in Richland, Washington.
