Environmental Engineer (Data & Compliance)

Location: Onsite in Louisville, Kentucky, USA

Salary: $69,420–$92,560 per year, including base salary and annual incentive bonus; final offer depends on skills, experience, and internal equity.

What you will do

• Support environmental, sustainability, and compliance priorities with the ESHA Manager and site leadership.
• Maintain environmental regulatory compliance and help manage environmental risks across multiple sites.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on regional operations.
• Complete environmental inspections, calculations, compliance activities, reports, and regulatory filings.
• Develop tools to automate environmental data collection, analysis, and compliance reporting.
• Support environmental permitting, incident investigations, root cause analyses, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related STEM field.
• 1–3 years of experience in environmental compliance, chemical manufacturing, or a related industrial environment.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations, permitting, and chemical-industry compliance programs.
• Experience with data management and reporting tools such as SAP, SQL, Oracle, Microsoft Power Platform, DREAM Reports, or ACTS.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
