Environmental Manager (Data Centers)

Location: Remote within Virginia or an emerging STACK development market, preferably Northern Virginia. Travel: 15–35%.

What you will do

• Support the environmental management and compliance program across STACK Americas, from land acquisition through data center operations.
• Oversee environmental due diligence, including Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, noise studies, remediation, permitting, SWPPP, SPCC, and Tier II activities.
• Review environmental consultant and internal deliverables, develop scopes of work, coordinate third-party bids, and manage project execution.
• Provide technical guidance to development and critical operations teams on local and federal environmental compliance obligations.
• Develop and deliver environmental compliance training and support continuous improvement of the Environmental Compliance Program.
• Monitor changing environmental regulations and advise on strategies supporting data center development and operations.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in environmental management.
• Experience managing multiple environmental due diligence, remediation, permitting, and compliance projects.
• Working knowledge of Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, noise studies, NEPA, SWPPP, SPCC, and Tier II requirements.
• Experience with air permitting is required.
• Ability to manage scopes of work, third-party consulting bids, projects, environmental reports, and deliverables.
• Ability to work remotely from Virginia or an emerging STACK development market and travel 15–35%.
