Director of Environmental Services – Northern New England

Location: United States; hybrid workplace. The role focuses on the northern New England region and may require site travel.

What you will do

• Develop and execute strategic plans to grow compliance, remediation, and site investigation consulting services in northern New England.
• Help build the regional environmental services practice, including establishing a physical office.
• Identify business opportunities, manage key accounts, cultivate client relationships, and negotiate contracts.
• Lead proposals and support the capture of new projects and programs.
• Serve as a senior technical lead on complex projects, oversee delivery quality, and review technical deliverables.
• Represent the organization at conferences and networking events, mentor project staff, and promote environmental health and worker safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting, A/E/C, or a relevant industry.
• 10+ years of business development experience and demonstrated success building client relationships.
• Ability to work effectively on multidisciplinary projects and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in the United States; site travel may be required.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business software.

• Postgraduate education.
• Deep understanding of client markets, environmental regulations, and industry trends.
• Professional Geologist, Massachusetts Licensed Site Professional, or Professional Engineer designation.
