Staff Engineer I - P2P (Procure-to-Pay)

Location: Phoenix, AZ, United States; onsite. Full-time role with up to 25% travel.

What you will do

• Manage and optimize end-to-end Procure-to-Pay integrations across procurement, finance, vendor management, compliance, and ERP platforms.
• Design and maintain enterprise integration patterns, reference architectures, process flows, data mappings, and other technical artifacts.
• Configure, develop, and support APIs, web services, middleware, and integration endpoints for secure system-to-system communication.
• Improve data quality, integrity, reconciliation, governance, performance, and workflow reliability across procurement interfaces.
• Implement monitoring, observability, alerting, application performance metrics, and recovery procedures for critical integrations.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, and Application Development teams to maintain technology and compliance standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience in IT application support, IT development, IT networking, or a similar field.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Strong understanding of P2P technology ecosystems and common enterprise integration patterns.
• Hands-on experience administering and integrating procurement platforms such as Oracle Fusion, Coupa, Levelpath, or ServiceNow using APIs, middleware, web services, and enterprise integration technologies.
• Experience with system configuration, data integrity, performance optimization, and end-to-end workflow reliability.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, develop pipelines with Azure DevOps, and apply governance, risk mitigation, and architectural compliance practices.

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of financial services or banking.
