IT Operations Engineer - NW - Onsite Mt. Laurel NJ - 1st Shift

Location: Onsite in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, United States. First shift schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; days off are Wednesday and Thursday. Game-day support may be required on major holidays.

What you will do

• Monitor network reliability and performance using SolarWinds and DataDog.
• Lead network incident resolution, meet SLAs, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Implement and support secure networking solutions across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Create and maintain network documentation, topology maps, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Support server, cloud, and network infrastructure during mission-critical game-day operations.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Cisco Nexus, Arista, Meraki switches, Cisco wireless controllers, and Windows, Linux, and Unix environments.
• Experience using ServiceNow for ticketing, plus hands-on knowledge of firewalls, routing protocols, and network monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting, with strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in complex, multisite environments.
• CCNA or CCNP certification, ITIL, and server or cloud certifications are preferred.

Nice to have

• Data center network troubleshooting with Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki, or Arista technologies.
• Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting for server and cloud automation.
• Cloud networking experience with AWS, Azure, or Microsoft 365.
• Infrastructure capacity planning, performance tuning, SIEM, endpoint protection, video streaming, or CDN experience.
