Lead Teacher - Elementary

Salary: $56,000–$76,669 per year

What you will do

• Adapt and deliver rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum for kindergarten through 4th/5th grade across all subjects.
• Create lessons, unit plans, rubrics, and assessments, and use student data to guide instruction.
• Provide daily feedback and plan individualized learning support based on student needs.
• Build a positive, calm, and inclusive classroom culture while upholding school values and student management policies.
• Collaborate with school staff, communicate student progress to families, and participate in parent events.
• Set professional growth goals and participate in summer and weekly professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid New York State teaching licensure or willingness to pursue state certification.
• At least two years of experience as a school educator is preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule outside regular business hours.
• Ability to create and work within an inclusive environment that supports diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
