What you will do

• Implement curriculum and activities aligned with high academic standards.
• Analyze assessment data to measure progress and differentiate instruction.
• Respond strategically to student learning needs and maintain a strong focus on student achievement.
• Create a positive, structured learning environment based on core values, high expectations, and a code of conduct.
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
• Participate in staff orientation, instructional training, grade-level activities, and school-wide functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree completed before employment begins.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
• Strong mastery of and enthusiasm for relevant academic subjects.
• Commitment to continuous professional growth, collaboration, personal responsibility, and implementing feedback.
• Prior education experience is not required for new teachers, but demonstrated passion for working with K-12 students is expected.
• For experienced teachers, at least two years of teaching experience in an urban public or charter school is preferred; state certification and a master’s degree are helpful but not required.
