Architectural Designer (Entry Level)

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; onsite

Salary: CAD 50,000–CAD 65,000 yearly

What you will do

• Develop design and construction models and related architectural documentation using Revit or other BIM software.
• Produce floor and ceiling plans, elevations, sections, details, and drawings from architectural markups.
• Review drawings for compliance with documentation standards.
• Coordinate designs with engineering and construction personnel.
• Assist with field investigations and information gathering.
• Participate in drawing reviews, coordination meetings, and quality checks across multiple projects.

Requirements

• Entry-level architectural design experience under the supervision of an Architect of Record.
• Preferred: accredited professional degree in Architecture, including B.Arch, M.Arch, or D.Arch, or a Canadian or international equivalent.
• An applicable associate degree or technical trade school certification combined with at least two years of experience in an architecture, engineering, or construction firm is accepted.
• Flexibility for moderate travel for project-based or training activities.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Enscape, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• LEED accreditation, WELL certification, or similar sustainability credentials.
