Continuous Improvement Intern (Manufacturing)

Location: Gallatin, Tennessee, United States; onsite, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Salary: $18.50 per hour

What you will do

• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, waste, and improvement opportunities.
• Collect, track, and interpret production, quality, and downtime data.
• Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including 6S, standard work, visual management, and Kaizen events.
• Document process improvements and help develop standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams and coordinate project updates.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in chemistry, engineering, operations management, supply chain, or a related field.
• Interest in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, or process optimization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to collect, organize, and interpret data with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Full-time work onsite in Gallatin, Tennessee; relocation is not available.
