TL;DR
Continuous Improvement Kaizen Specialist (Manufacturing): Supporting lean transformation and employee engagement to promote a “creativity before capital” mindset with an accent on Kaizen facilitation and 3P process simulation. Focus on implementing 5S, Standard Work, and TPM to optimize manufacturing efficiency and support the New Product Development Process.
Location: Onsite in Franklin, NH (or St. Pauls, NC)

What you will do
- Facilitate Kaizen events and manage all necessary preparatory data gathering.
- Apply 3P "try storming" simulations to prove concepts and quickly assemble beneficial solutions.
- Train employees across the campus on continuous improvement tasks and lean processes.
- Implement and sustain 5S, Standard Work, Flow, Visual Management, TPM, and Error Proofing.
- Collaborate on the New Product Development Process and manage the productivity funnel.
- Prepare and present activity report-outs to senior leadership.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing.
- Must possess or earn a Yellow Belt certification within 3 months of hire.
- Ability to work collaboratively in team-oriented environments with minimal supervision.
- Professional communication skills for interacting with internal customers.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift/carry/push/pull up to 25 lbs.
Nice to have
- Associate degree or certification in engineering technology, operations, or a related field.
- Prior experience supporting Kaizen events or Lean improvement projects.
- Exposure to KPI reporting or visual management systems.
